WealthFusions advisors are independent financial advisors contracted through World Financial Group Insurance Agency of Canada Inc. (WFG). Our revenue model includes the following components:
Free strategy sessions, financial snapshots, gap analyses, and written session summaries are provided at no cost to you. WealthFusions does not charge consulting fees. The consultation itself generates zero revenue for us.
When a client proceeds to implement a financial product — such as a segregated fund, life insurance policy, critical illness coverage, or disability insurance policy — WealthFusions advisors receive compensation from the product provider (insurer or fund manufacturer). This compensation typically takes the form of:
This compensation is paid by the carrier or fund manufacturer — not by you directly. It is built into the product pricing and does not represent an additional cost above what you would pay elsewhere for the same product.
WealthFusions may refer clients to third-party professionals including mortgage brokers, tax accountants, lawyers, and investment specialists. In some cases, referral compensation may be exchanged between parties. Any such arrangement will be disclosed to you at the time of referral.
WealthFusions advisors hold product authorizations through WFG with the following carriers and product providers. Our advisors may receive compensation from any of these providers when clients implement their products:
Compensation rates vary by carrier and product type. We do not disclose specific compensation rates as these are confidential to WFG's carrier agreements, but this information is available upon request in accordance with applicable provincial insurance regulation.
WealthFusions participates in a small number of affiliate and referral programmes for third-party tools and financial services platforms that we believe offer genuine value to our readers. When you click an affiliate link on our site and make a qualifying purchase or open an account, WealthFusions may receive a referral fee from the third party at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate links are active on this site. All affiliate links are clearly labelled at the point of placement with an "[Affiliate]" or "[Sponsored]" tag so you always know before you click. We never embed hidden tracking links or disguise affiliate relationships.
The table below lists all affiliate and referral relationships we have established or are actively considering. We update this table whenever a new programme is added or removed.
| Partner | Category | Compensation type | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Questrade | Self-directed investing & TFSA/RRSP accounts | $50–$75 per funded account | Planned |
| Willful | Online will & estate document platform | Percentage of plan sale | Planned |
| Borrowell | Free credit monitoring & score | Per verified signup | Planned |
| Knightsbridge FX | Currency exchange (high earners) | Per referred transaction | Planned |
How we select affiliate partners: We only apply to programmes for products or platforms that our advisors have independently evaluated and would recommend regardless of compensation. We do not accept affiliate arrangements for products we would not recommend to our own clients.
Compensation does not affect editorial content: Affiliate relationships have zero influence on our blog articles, case studies, or free calculators. We do not write favourable reviews in exchange for affiliate access, and we do not inflate rankings or omit competitor products to protect an affiliate relationship.
Every affiliate or referral link on wealthfusions.com will be accompanied by one of the following labels immediately adjacent to the link:
If you ever see a link on our site that appears to be a referral link and is not labelled, please notify us at info@wealthfusions.com — we treat unlabelled affiliate links as a compliance error and will correct them immediately.
WealthFusions operates a blog at wealthfusions.com/blog that is monetized in part through Google AdSense, a display advertising programme operated by Google LLC. Google AdSense serves third-party advertisements on our blog pages based on the content of the page and, where applicable, your browsing history and interests as determined by Google's systems.
Display advertising is active on our blog. You may see third-party advertisements on blog articles and related pages. These ads are served by Google and are clearly distinguishable from our editorial content. WealthFusions does not control which specific advertisers or products appear in these ad units.
Where ads appear: Display ads are limited to our blog section (wealthfusions.com/blog and individual blog article pages). Our consultation pages, free tools, case studies, and legal pages do not contain display advertising.
Ad placement policy: We configure AdSense to exclude ads from our hero sections, CTA sections, and any compliance-sensitive content. We aim to maintain a reading experience that is not disruptive to the educational content we publish.
WealthFusions does not accept payment from financial institutions, carriers, or any financial services company in exchange for featuring, recommending, or positively portraying their products in our editorial content — including blog articles, case studies, comparison tools, and free calculators. The presence of an advertiser's ad on our blog does not reflect any editorial relationship with that advertiser.
Our free financial calculators do not embed referral codes, affiliate tracking links, or product-specific recommendations tied to compensation arrangements. Calculator results are mathematically driven by your inputs and current CRA tax data only. No ads appear on the free tools pages.
All financial content published on wealthfusions.com — including blog articles, case studies, calculator methodologies, and guides — is produced by WealthFusions advisors and writers based solely on educational merit and accuracy. The following commercial activities do not influence our editorial content:
When a carrier, product, or platform is mentioned positively in our editorial content, it is because our advisors believe the information is accurate and in the reader's best interest — not because of any commercial arrangement with that entity's marketing department.
If WealthFusions ever publishes sponsored or paid editorial content (branded articles, advertorials, or sponsored newsletter segments), such content will be clearly labelled "Sponsored Content" or "Paid Partnership" at the top of the piece, in a visually distinct format that cannot be confused with our independent editorial content.
We acknowledge that compensation from carriers, affiliate partners, and advertisers creates potential conflicts of interest. Here is how we manage them:
WealthFusions advisors are required to disclose compensation at the point of sale in accordance with applicable provincial insurance legislation and the regulations of each province in which they hold a licence. This disclosure page satisfies the general advance disclosure requirement and does not replace the specific point-of-sale disclosure your advisor will provide when recommending a product.
Our affiliate disclosure practices are designed to comply with the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the Competition Act (Canada) requirements on misleading advertising, and the disclosure guidance issued by the Advertising Standards Canada (ASC). Our Google AdSense participation complies with Google's Publisher Policies.
